​AMEL provides composite testing to qualify the best materials for a product by predicting and optimising a product’s performance. This will improve and accelerate the manufacturing process.

The testing is undertaken with a NADCAP compliant Instron 5985 250kN Test System complete with hydraulic grips and an integral environment chamber. It has the ability to mechanically test composites (and metals) between -80°C to +350°C.

Test methods available are ASTM D2344, ASTM D3039, ASTM D5379, ASTM D5656, ASTM D5766, ASTM D5868, ASTM D5961, ASTM D6484, ASTM D6641 and ASTM D7078.
