Large Scale Model Manufacture
Our customers have used large scale models to showcase products and prototypes at exhibitions and airshows. Composite models have also become increasingly popular in the TV and film industry, with the lightweight construction and modular design having obvious logistical advantages.
Traditionally models have been made from plywood, steel frames and polyester fibreglass, finished with paint.
AMEL has taken inspiration from aircraft design and manufactures our large scale models with structural skins supported by a secondary support frame.

Our services include: production mould design, small to medium scale batch production including structural and non structural components and laser scanning reverse engineering.
